Stiff Skull Mortarboard
Aura will handcraft stiff skull mortarboards to match your required head circumference, adhering to university regulatory requirements. The mortarboards can either be a stiff skull mortarboard or soft skull (and therefore suitable for travel).The mortarboards are created using specialised moulds and covered with the required fabric, whether it is a silk damask to match an existing gown or cotton velvet.
The interior features a quilted lining for comfort and can be finished with a gold or silver bullion tassel, with the option of a gold or silver oakleaf trim to match.Aura can provide this on a Cut, Make, and Trim basis (where the client supplies all fabrics and trims) as an alternative to our full service, if preferred.
Bonnets
Our bonnets are handcrafted by skilled artisans and made using traditional methods. Our variety of brim sizes caters to an array of preferences, constructed with damask, velvet, wool, or any other specified cloth.
The bonnets are lined for comfort and can be personalised with gold or silver embroidery, including a name, initial, or title inside for easy identification.
